Hunger Blitz
September 14–18, 2026
Bring non-perishable food and personal-care products for the district-wide food and hygiene drive. Donations support the Ankeny Service Center and Ankeny Community School District food pantries.
At Prairie Trail, drop donations at the tables in front of the cafeteria. Collections also take place in elementary, middle and high school JagHawk bins, at the Ankeny Service Center, and at the stadium during the Friday, September 18 football game.
Online donations count toward the total pounds collected. The flyer includes separate HAWKS and JAGS donation QR codes; donors can choose a feeder total or enter a school name. Individual elementary, middle and high school buildings with the most donations receive a special prize. The school feeder with the most donations earns the traveling JagHawk Trophy. Winners will be announced at the September 18 varsity football game.

Prairie Dog Dash
October 2 at 1 p.m. Every student takes part in our one-mile Color Splash Dash.
Fall class parties
October 23. Find your child’s party time and complete the requirements before attending.
